Community NP is proud to be a part of the pursuit of higher education. Nurse Practitioners are an integral part of patient education, and as such, should also have the experience of quality education and training. Transitioning from RN to NP can be a challenging one. We want to help you make that transition a positive one. A good preceptor can influence your success and role satisfaction – providing not only a valuable educational experience, but also insight into the provider role.

The advantage of precepting with Community NP is access to our collaborative network of Nurse Practitioners. Our student(s) become part of our community, our network – granting them the opportunity to learn from a variety of specialty NPs.

For those interested in obtaining clinical hours [for Masters Degree Advanced Practice Nursing], please submit a request in writing to Precepting@CommunityNP.org at least one semester in advance of your anticipated start date. Please include the name of your school, NP degree track name and contact information for your faculty advisor, number of clinical hours required and a copy of your resume/CV. Please allow 5 business days for review of your submission.
