What is the difference between “TeleHealth” and “TeleMedicine”? “TeleHealth” is an umbrella term, which refers to electronically communicating with a healthcare provider. TeleHealth can involve communication via phone call, email, text message or video chat, and topics of conversation can include any aspect of health (diet, medications, advice on local resources, etc.). Whereas “TeleMedicine” is the delivery of medical services/treatment through those same electronic communication avenues.
Community NP offers both TeleHealth and TeleMedicine visits via Zoom. If you would like to schedule a TeleHealth or TeleMedicine appointment, our office staff will be happy to arrange that for you. Please call (706) 438-1222 to set up your appointment.
